The Vegreville Rangers are excited for our 2022/2023 season. Below you will find a schedule of our upcoming skates & events. Those looking to compete for a spot on our roster, please contact our Head Coach, Trevor. We are still seeking a few players to fill some spots on Defense and a couple Forwards. All Events, Practices & Games will take place at the Wally Fedun Arena.

SEPTEMBER 7TH - PRACTICE @ 8:00-9:30PM

SEPTEMBER 16TH - EXHIBITION GAME (HOME) VS ST. PAUL CANADIENS - 8:00PM

All New Players skating for the first time will be required to pay a $40 tryout fee.
All Players that are still in U18 (Minor Hockey) and those that played for another Junior B team last season will require a Permission to Tryout Form submitted via email prior to their first skate. This will help us ensure the form is completed correctly and in accordance with Hockey Alberta. Click the link below for the tryout form. PERMISSION TO TRYOUT FORM
We recognize many players will be attending tryouts in August and September, which is why our tryout process will continue throughout the month of September / October. Players & Goalies that are interested in potentially trying out for the Vegreville Rangers should they be unsuccessful in their camps can fill out a registration form and submit without payment. This process will allow us to remain in contact with each player throughout September / October. Again, if they are unsuccessful in their previous endeavors, the Rangers JR B Hockey club will allow each player to attend a minimum of 2 Practices and 1 Game to evaluate and make a decision. We will also use these forms to potentially affiliate a player or goalie that is interested.
